Nima Azizi

Nima is a partner at Avanessy Giordano LLP and has practised exclusively in plaintiff’s personal injury for years. He has extensive experience in handling motor vehicle accident claims, slip and fall cases, and other complex personal injury insurance disputes. He has successfully handled hundreds of cases for clients who have sustained permanent and life-changing physical, psychological, and catastrophic impairments.

Nima represents clients at the Superior Court of Justice and has successful jury trial experience. He also routinely represents clients in accident benefits disputes and hearings at the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT).

Through his years of experience, Nima has developed a compassionate and client-oriented approach. He recognizes that accident victims face significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges, and works closely with each client to understand their specific circumstances. He is dedicated to fiercely advocating for his clients to achieve the best possible outcomes, whether through favourable negotiated settlements or through litigation.

Nima is a longstanding member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), where he stays current with developments in personal injury law and advocacy techniques. He obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of British Columbia.

Nima’s commitment to advocacy was shaped during law school through his volunteer work at community legal clinics, where he successfully represented underprivileged clients in court and during settlement negotiations. These formative experiences reinforced his conviction that everyone deserves compassionate and quality legal representation, regardless of their circumstances. This is a principle that drives Nima’s commitment to advocating for his injured clients today.

Outside the office, Nima enjoys playing tennis and stays active at the gym.
